Free Time Options
The property is situated on 120 wooded acres, with mountain trails and a scenic lakefront just one block from the beach. A private bridge connects the grounds to the gorgeous beach. Recreation options with camp staff requirements will be announced prior to the retreat. A gym is open all weekend – a nice option during inclement weather.

Hike the nearby Cedar Wetlands Preserve – a breathtaking boardwalk hike among an ancient cedar bog that contains extremely large and old western red cedars and Sitka spruce. The Rockaway Beach area offers a host of natural wonders, delicious cups of coffee, shops to browse, and bakeries to visit.

Lodging

Our retreaters will stay in Hadley Hall, the camp’s largest hall. This beautiful, clean and modern facility offers “cabin-style” rooms with combinations of bunk beds that together sleep 7-8 persons in each room. All the lower bunks will be utilized first. There are 7 large restrooms with showers throughout the three floors. A small number of private rooms will be reserved for couples, those with medical conditions and nursing mothers in need of a more private space. Roommate requests can be made upon registration.

The outdoor fireplace on the patio and various nooks to settle into conversations are highlights of this space and the entire camp.

Dining & Allergy Information
Delicious and healthy meals will be served throughout the weekend. Our retreaters will have a designated eating area together in the beautiful dining hall. Twin Rocks Friends Camp can accommodate the following five special diet needs: non-celiac gluten free allergies, dairy allergies, nut allergies, vegetarian, and vegan. When registering please denote your dietary needs and mention additional allergy information in the comments.
